This branch will close at 4:00pm on Friday 22nd  December 2023 and will re-open at 9:30am on Wednesday 27th December 2023
then normal hours until 30th December – closing at 4:00pm

We will re-open at 9:30am on Tuesday 2nd  January 2024

Out of hours emergency.

We want to make sure that our clients are looked after 24/7 so we’ve put together a helpful checklist.

Should an emergency occur outside of Embleys’ office hours please follow these steps:

If the emergency can’t wait for our assistance, please instruct a suitable and qualified contractor in order to make the property safe.

Please inform your property manager as soon as our office is open of any incidents that have happened.

Please make a note of the contractor’s full contact details and ask them to invoice Embleys Estate Agents direct. Please note the repair must be justified in order for payment to be made.

If you can smell gas in the property please contact the gas emergency services (National Grid) immediately on 0800 111 999.

What is an emergency?

An emergency is something which has caused serious damage to the property and may include:

Full loss of electrical power

There can be many reasons for loss of electrical power including unpaid bills, prepayment meters, power cuts within the area or a tripped fuse. To check if you have full loss of power please contact 105. This is a free nationwide number which will put you through to your electricity supplier.

Severe leakage

Leaks can come from pipes or plumbing fixtures and fittings. Signs of a leak are visible water from around the area and/or water bubbling through walls or floors.

Full loss of hot water or heating

Loss of hot water and/or heating can be caused by a problem with the central heating system, boiler/radiators or electric storage heaters, depending on your current heating system.

Broken doors or windows as a result of an accident or break in

Please note a contractor should be instructed to board up any broken doors or windows to make the property safe. The damage must be reported to the police and a criminal reference number provided to Embleys as proof of the incident.
